NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN) has signed supplementary agreement with Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) on 02.12.2021 for Supply of 160MW+20% (i.e. 192 MW) power from Tripura to Bangladesh under Radial mode.

The agreement was signed by Shri Praveen Saxena (CEO-NVVN) and Saiful Islam Azad, Secretary BPDB.

As per the modified terms & conditions of the agreement, NVVN will supply 160 MW+20% (i.e. maximum 192 MW) to Bangladesh instead of earlier 160MW.

The tariff for this supply for the 1st Contract year shall be INR6.27/kWh w.e.f 17th March 2021 with fixed year on year escalation of 2% per year. This Supplementary Agreement shall be the integral part of the earlier Power Sale Agreement which was executed in March 2016.
