GEM participant children are actively participating in NTPC Jhanor's Swachhata Pakhwada initiative by spreading awareness about cleanliness through colorful placards. The Swachhata Pakhwada is a nationwide campaign that has gained momentum in recent years, promoting cleanliness and hygiene. With the participation of children, the movement has gained a new dimension.

Carrying their placards to the township gate during office hours, they attract attention and spark curiosity among employees and passersby. The vibrant displays attract employees and encourage them to take a moment to read the messages, which captures their attention.

The messages on the placards cover a range of topics, including waste management, and personal hygiene. With slogans such as "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!" and "E-Waste: Reuse and Re-Energize the Environment," children are inspiring others to take responsibility for the environment. Their simple yet powerful messages encourage everyone to adopt clean habits and maintain a healthy and hygienic living environment.

HOP Jhanor also endorses this activity and emphasizes that involving children in promoting cleanliness is not only commendable but also crucial for building a sustainable future. By instilling these values at a young age, we are cultivating a generation that comprehends the significance of cleanliness and its enduring advantages. These children are becoming role models for their peers and inspiring a culture of cleanliness in their communities.

On this occasion, Sh. Neeraj Dubey (CGM-NTPC Jhanor) and Smt. Vijaya Lakshmi Muralidharan, Head of HR, and other NTPC officials were present.
