NVVN has an ambitious plan to expand its footprint in Renewable Energy. By 2028, NVVN plans to execute 500 MW of both rooftop and ground-mounted small solar projects at various govt institutions & public sector entities.

To establish NVVN brand in small scale RE projects, a logo design competition was held amongst employees/families across NTPC in which over 100 participants took part. The creative submitted by Shri Binod Kumar Sahoo, Emp. No. 097280, W11/ Jr.Engr Grade-I (Operation), NTPC Talcher-Kaniha was selected for inspiration for the final logo of Solar wing of NVVN.
