On World Environment Day, June 5th, 2024, NTPC Jhanor Gandhar commemorated the occasion by organizing a tree plantation drive with GEM girls. The initiative commenced with the planting of trees, followed by a morning procession led by the GEM girls, culminating in a pledge to safeguard the environment.

The primary aim of this event was to instill environmental awareness among the GEM girls. On this event,  Shri Ajay Singhal, HOP ( Jhanor), all HODs, township residents, and children were present and actively participated in the event.
