On 28.06. 2024, Under the Community Development program, Banhardih Coal Mining Project, PVUNL distributed around 250 umbrellas among the children and staffs of Upgraded Middle School, Sabano, one of the project affected village. The umbrella distribution program was held under the active guidance of Sh. K Chandrasekhar, GM-Banhardih CMP in the presence of other PVUNL officials, school administration and local representatives.

During the programme, a total of 250 umbrellas were distributed to the students. Given the current climate conditions of the area and frequent rainfall, this was an important and benefitting activity for the students. The principal and other teachers at the school expressed their gratitude to Banardih Coal Mining for organizing the activity during this season.
