Southern Region Sports Meet - 2024 was inaugurated at NTPC Ramagundam & Telangana by Shri Kedar Ranjan Pandu along with Smt Chinmoyee Das, President, DMS, Shri Santosh Tiwari, President, Sports Council, Shri Babar Salim Pasha, Central NBC Member, all GMs, RHOHR, senior members of DMS, representatives of Union and Associations and other officers. It is four days tournament, 7th July to 10th July. 

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Kedar Ranjan Pandu, Executive Director, Ramagundam and Telangana said that after 4 years SRSM-2024 has been organised and motivated everyone and wished them All the best for their matches. 

It was declared open by ED (R&T) followed by Oath and Torch run by all the players.

Badminton Tournament has been organised for female employees and Cricket for Male employees, more than 100 players have participated in the event from 5 projects of the Southern Region. 

Ramagundam won the match on it's first in both Badminton (against Simhadri) and Cricket (against Kudgi).
