The final day of the Southern Region Sports Meet began with Van Mahotsav & Mass Tree plantation and the inauguration of Dhanwantari Ayush Vatika by Shri Prem Parkash, RED (WR-1 & South), in the esteemed presence of Shri Kedar Ranjan Pandu, Executive Director (R&T), Shri SN Panigrahi, RHOR (South), and all GMs.
The Ramagundam Female Badminton Team, led by Ms. Pragyan Priyadarshini, Officer HR, won their match, securing the trophy. The Simhadri Male Cricket Team triumphed over Ramagundam in their match.
Shri Prem Parkash, RED (WR-1 & South), appreciated the efforts of the whole organizing committee of Ramagundam & Telangana for their relentless hard work and emphasized the importance of incorporating more sports and physical activities into daily life. Shri Kedar Ranjan Pandu, ED (R&T), remarked that all players are winners, as they competed with true sportsmanship.
"It doesn't matter which team will win because at the end it is the win of the whole NTPC" said Shri SN Panigrahi, RHOHR-SRHQ.
The event concluded with an award distribution ceremony. The results were as follows:

The four-day tournament featured five projects and over 100 participants from the southern region.
All GMs, Shri Babar Salim Pasha, Central NBC Member, senior DMS members, HOHR, Sports Council Team, representatives of Union and Associations, all players and the dedicated SRSM-2024 Team and family members of employees were also present at the event.
