Top ten meritorious students from GEM 2024 batch have been selected for further education at BBPS, NTPC Sipat. On July 31, 2024, Smt. Sadhna Pandey, President, Sangwari Mahila Samiti distributed school bags and stationery items to the GEM girls in the presence of senior members of Sangwari Mahila Samiti. The parents of these meritorious girls were also in attendance, witnessing a moment that marked the beginning of a transformative journey for their daughters. 

These 10 GEM Girls have been enrolled in class VI at Bal Bharti Public School, NTPC Sipat and their classes commenced on 01 August 2024. These girls belong to the project affected villages of Sipat, Janji, Gatoura, Raliya, Parsahi, Dhaniya, and Khamariya. NTPC Sipat will offer free education to these young GEMs until class XII, covering tuition fees, books, uniform, shoes, extracurricular activities, and related expenses, under its CSR initiative. Through such enduring and impactful efforts, NTPC Sipat is empowering these girls and paving the way for a brighter future for the community.
