The Indoor Sports Tournament 2024, organized by MEWA, concluded with a closing ceremony yesterday. The event was graced by the presence of Shri D.R. Dehuri, Head of Project, NTPC Mouda.

The closing ceremony also witnessed the esteemed presence of Shri Harekrushna Jena, GM (Maintenance), NTPC Mouda, Shri Sagar Ranjan Sahoo, Head of HR, NTPC Mouda, Smt. Anita Arora, Welfare Incharge (Samruddhi Mahila Samiti) and employees & township family members.

The final day witnessed an exhilarating Men's Singles final in badminton, where Anand Sumant secured the winning position against J.P. Singh, showcasing a brilliant display of skill and determination.

This year's tournament saw an impressive turnout, with over 125 players competing across various categories in badminton and table tennis. Participants included employees, their spouses, and children, enhancing a spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship.

Following the thrilling final match, a prize distribution ceremony was held to honor the winners and participants, marking the successful conclusion of the tournament.
