NTPC WR-1 , HQ Mumbai Township celebrated Ganesh Mahotsav on September 7th and 8th. The two-day festivities were graced by the esteemed presence of dignitaries, including respected RED (WR1 and SR )Shri Prem Parkash, ED Nuclear Shri Prasenjit Pal, RHOHR Ms. Vandana Chaturvedi, Senior officials alongside NTPC employees and their families.

The celebrations commenced with the auspicious Ganpati Sthapna Pooja, where the township residents gathered to welcome Lord Ganesha. The air was filled with the aroma of flowers and the sound of devotional hymns, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. The day continued with a sumptuous Bhog, offering a variety of delicacies to the deity. As the evening approached, the community united for the Aarti.

Day two began with the serene Satyanarayan Pooja, a ritual that brought peace and blessings to all participants. This was followed by a delightful Khichdi Bhog, a simple yet heartfelt offering that symbolized unity and togetherness. The celebrations culminated with the Visarjan, a farewell to Lord Ganesha, as the idol was immersed with prayers for his return next year.
