Aparajita Mahila Samaj went a step ahead for creating awareness amongst project affected ladies of MUNPL Meja regarding Breast Cancer. BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH is being celebrated as *Pink October* in MUNPL Meja. While Free Breast check-ups & Breast self-examination lessons are being given at Aarogyam Hospital from 1-31 October, many Breast cancer awareness programs are also being organised for the ladies of NTPC, CISF and associate families of the township. Under this initiative, an awareness session was organised for the housemaids of the township and female contract workers on Saturday, the 19th of October 2024 by Ladies Club, Aparajita Mahila Samaj, MUNPL Meja in association with Aarogyam Hospital. The session was inaugurated by the chief guest, Smt. Anu Soni, President, Aparajita Mahila Samaj, in the presence of Commitee Members of AMS. More than fifty women benefitted from the lifesaving session which was delivered by Dr Manisha Pandey, CMO, Aarogyam Hospital. Smt. Anu Soni reiterated the commitment of MUNPL towards the holistic empowerment of the underprivileged section of society
