Sh. Gautam Deb, Regional Executive Director (Hydro) and Executive Director (PP&M), visited the Tapovan Vishnugad Hydro Power Project from November 14th to 16th, 2024, accompanied by his spouse, Smt. Bipasha Deb. Upon their arrival, they were warmly welcomed by Sh. P. A. Pande, CGM & HOP, along with Sh. Manmeet Bedi, GM (Project), and other HODs. Smt. Smita Pande, President of Alaknanda Mahila Samiti, extended a special welcome to Smt. Bipasha Deb.

On the first day, Sh. Gautam Deb visited key project sites, starting with the Powerhouse and followed by the TBM site, where he reviewed ongoing activities and provided valuable insights. Later, he interacted with representatives from TVEAN (Tapovan Vishnugad Executive Association), fostering discussions on Employees' welfare.

The second day of the visit began with site visit of the Barrage and HRT (Head Race Tunnel). This was followed by a detailed review meeting to assess project progress and a communication meeting with employees. Meanwhile, Alaknanda Mahila Samiti organized a General Body Meeting, where Smt. Bipasha Deb graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, emphasizing the importance of community welfare initiatives. In the evening, a cultural program was organized, featuring a mesmerizing performance by the Gomit Ghazal Group, which left the audience spellbound.

On the final day, Sh. Gautam Deb planted a tree at Alaknanda Vihar Township, symbolizing a commitment to sustainability, before departing the project. The visit left a lasting impact on all of the employees.
