PMI conducted a three-day training programme on Energy Transition from 27th-29th January. Over 25 participants from various NTPC stations and offices attended the programme featuring presentations from experts on renewable energy integration, decarbonisation strategies, climate finance, transition risks, and the role of digitalisation and smart grids.

During the inaugural session Smt Rachana Singh Bhal, CGM (Strategic HR & Talent Management) underscored the importance of skill enhancement and strategic knowledge sharing in enabling NTPC’s workforce to lead energy transition.

The speakers included Dr Sambit Basu, Head (Research) PFI, Smt Swetha Ravi Kumar, ED (FSR Global), Shri Labanya P Jena, Consultant (Sustainable Finance) at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), Dr Sameeksha, a carbon market expert and Dr Debajit Palit, Head (Research) Chintan Research Foundation.
