The 54th National Safety Day celebration was held at NTPC Auraiya Gas Power Station, beginning with the hoisting of the safety flag by Shri Subhashish Guha, HOP, Auraiya at the Administrative Building. The safety pledge was administered by HOP and Head of O&M and was taken by all employees and contract workers.

During the program, a video presentation of five "Safety Kathasagar" was played in the auditorium to educate employees and workers on various safety aspects. On this occasion, a safety speech and a mass PEP talk were delivered by Shri Subhashish Guha, HOP, Auraiya, Shri Sanjay Kumar AGM(O&M), Shri Ajay Kumar Agarwal, AGM(EMD), Shri Rakesh Kumar, AC - Fire, CISF and Shri Pankaj Sharma, Sr Manager, Operations. HOP urged everyone to adhere to safety protocols at the site, take necessary precautions, and follow safety rules at all times. As part of the event, two nukkad nataks (street plays) were performed, focusing on safety while working at heights and handling electrical equipment.

At the conclusion of the program, the most safety-conscious employees, agency workers, and CISF personnells were recognized for their significant contributions to workplace safety throughout the year.
