NTPC Mouda successfully concluded its Football & Kick & Play Tournament for employees and their family members with an exciting closing ceremony held on 07.04.2025. The tournament, which was inaugurated on 25.03.2025 by Chief Guest Shri Himmat Singh Chauhan, Head of Project, saw enthusiastic participation across all categories.

A total of 191 participants competed in 24 matches across four categories:

Men’s Football – 5 teams (91 participants)

Ladies' Kick & Play – 5 teams (48 participants)

Girls’ Football – 2 teams (22 participants)

Boys’ Football – 2 teams (30 participants)

The finals were filled with thrill and fierce competition. In the Ladies' Kick & Play final, the much-anticipated clash between old rivals Veerangna and Mouda Girls Ranger ended with Mouda Girls Ranger securing a narrow victory by 08-07.

In the Men’s Football final, teams Top Gun and Gladiator faced off in a nail-biting match. After a tense game, Gladiator emerged victorious, beating Top Gun 4-1 in the final penalty shootout.

The closing ceremony and prize distribution were graced by Chief Guest Shri Himmat Singh Chauhan (HOP Mouda), along with Shri Parimal Kumar Mishra, GM (O&M), and Shri Sagar Ranjan Sahoo, HOHR Mouda. The event concluded with appreciation for all the participants and organizers for making the tournament a grand success.
