On 9th April 2025, the Sagarika Ladies Club (SLC) of Talcher Thermal celebrated its annual day with the theme ‘इतिहास का दर्पण’ (Mirror of History), bringing alive the essence of India's glorious past through vibrant performances and community spirit.

The event was graced by Shri Vijay Chand, ED &HOP, Talcher Thermal, as the Chief Guest. Dr. J.P. Roy, GM (Project), Smt. Vibha Agarwal, President of Sagarika Ladies Club, and all club members along with their families were present to mark the occasion.

The evening commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a welcome address by Smt. Vibha Agarwal, who highlighted the pivotal role played by the Ladies Club in enhancing the social and cultural fabric of the plant community. An annual report presentation showcased SLC’s wide-ranging contributions, including cultural celebrations, community development initiatives, and welfare activities throughout the year.

The cultural segment featured fun games, chorus singing, and dance performances—blending traditional elements with modern flair and drawing enthusiastic participation from members and their families. In his address, Shri Vijay Chand congratulated the Club for organizing such a vibrant and meaningful event and extended his best wishes for continued success in all future endeavors.
