The Deepika Ladies Club (DLC) proudly inaugurated a new initiative aimed at empowering women from nearby villages with essential skills in embroidery at
NTPC Simhadri on July 29, 2024. The event, was graced by the presence of Smt. Anju Sinha (President, DLC).

The newly launched embroidery classes are designed to provide 20 local women with the opportunity to learn and refine their embroidery skills over a comprehensive three-month course. This initiative is part of DLC's ongoing efforts to foster economic independence and enhance the skill set of women in the community.

Smt. Anju Sinha expressed her enthusiasm for the programme, emphasizing its potential to create new opportunities for the participants and contribute positively to the local economy.

The event was attended by the other memebers of the DLC.
