Tilottama Mahila Samiti of NTPC Talaipalli hosted a significant General Body Meeting where Smt. Rekha Jain, President of the Swayamsiddha Ladies Club, was a special guest. During her arrival Smt. Jain was warmly welcomed by Smt. Archana Yadav, President of Tilottama Mahila Samiti, marking the start of an inspiring event aimed at empowering women and fostering community development.

The meeting began at Koshal Vihar Township’s Bal Bhavan, where members showcased their talents with melodious songs, infusing warmth and joy into the gathering. The core of the meeting focused on the future action plan for Tilottama Mahila Samiti, mapping out upcoming initiatives for community service and women’s empowerment.

In line with NTPC Talaipalli’s commitment to environmental stewardship, Smt. Rekha Jain, President of Swayamsiddha Ladies Club, and Smt. Archana Yadav, President of Tilottama Mahila Samiti, also participated in a meaningful plantation ceremony. The initiatives included a blanket distribution for local women in need, symbolizing the clubs' commitment to supporting underprivileged communities. 

A highlight of the day was a first-aid training session organized by the medical department of Talaipalli CMP. Led by Shri B Murmu, CMO of TLCMP, the session provided essential first-aid training, equipping members and attendees with crucial life-saving skills. This training aimed at enabling local women and members to act swiftly and confidently in emergencies, embodying the club’s dedication to both community welfare and safety.

Furthermore, the clubs extended their efforts by distributing rations at a nearby blind school, a gesture that speaks volumes about their compassionate approach to community service. Through these collective initiatives, Tilottama Mahila Samiti demonstrated its unwavering support for Talaipalli’s community, highlighting the importance of service, education, and empowerment in fostering social well-being
