Chhath Puja is an important Hindu festival dedicated to the worship of the Sun God, Surya. This special celebration honors both the rising and setting sun, symbolizing the cycle of life, renewal, and gratitude.

Recently, a heartfelt welfare program was organized for the house-maids of NTPC Barh township. Under the guidance of Mrs. Kavitha Rao, President, Mandakini Club, various items for chhath puja like bamboo soops, bamboo baskets, and Steel tiffin boxes were distributed to 90 maids of the township. In the spirit of Diwali, sweets were also distributed to them.
