PMI in association with CQA started the three-day SAMARTH QA&I Module training programme on 22nd January at SRHQ, Hyderabad. The programme was inaugurated in the virtual presence of Shri M K Asthana, ED (QA&I), Smt Rachana Singh Bhal, CGM (PMI & Strategic HR & Talent Management) and Shri A R Mahapatra, GM (IS).

The training for new entrants to FQA, CQA, RIO & RE functions, covers key topics such as NTPC’s Quality Assurance & Inspection (QA&I) function, Quality Systems in NTPC, Standardised QA&I Procedures, Basic Metallurgy, Welding, FQA Functions, and Sub-Vendor Approval, among others.

In total 23 participants across NTPC stations underwent a pre-test to assess their knowledge and will take a post-test at the end to evaluate the learning outcomes.
