As part of NTPC's corporate commitment to "People Before PLF," JIVAK Hospital BRBCL, in collaboration with Sangini Ladies Club and the BRBCL Sports Council, successfully organized a Walkathon on January 27, 2025, under the NTPC Health and Wellness Policy (AHWAHAN).

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with over 70 employees and their spouses joining the initiative. The programme was graced by the Honourable CEO, Shri B.J.C. Sastry, President of Sangini Ladies Club, Mrs. Padma Sastry, General Manager (O&M), Shri A.K. Patra, and General Manager (Operations), Mr. B.K. Saha.

The Walkathon was flagged off by Mrs. Padma Sastry, President of Sangini Ladies Club. Covering a distance of more than 2 kilometers, the route was thoughtfully planned by the Sports Council, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants. Dedicated counters offering water and healthy snacks were set up at intervals along the route to support the walkers.

This event marks the beginning of a daily Walkathon initiative aimed at fostering a culture of health, fitness, and well-being among BRBCL employees and their families.
