As part of its CSR initiatives, Simhadri, in collaboration with DLC, inaugurated an Advanced Stitching Course for 30 women from nearby villages. The program aims to provide financial independence and equip participants with the skills needed to establish sustainable livelihoods.

Shri Sameer Sharma (HOP, Simhadri) encouraged the women to make the most of the training, while Smt. Neeta Sharma, President, DLC, assured continuous support for their entrepreneurial journey.

The event was attended by Shri B B Patra (HOHR), Shri Shivam Pratap Singh (CSR Executive), and DLC committee members, reaffirming NTPC Simhadri’s commitment to women’s empowerment and community development.
