Under the NTPC AHWAHAN policy, Dr. Kotnis Hospital, in collaboration with Srijana Mahila Mandal NTPC Solapur, conducted a free medical and dental checkup for 46 young children of Twinkle Bells School at the NTPC Township on 6th Feb 2025. The event was graced by Smt. Nupur Bandopadhyay, President of Srijana Mahila Mandal; Smt. Jaimala Mukhopadhyay, Vice President; Treasurer Smt. Bindu; and General Secretary Vanita. The class teachers of both Nursery and LKG streamlined the checkup.

Under the guidance of Dr. Anil Takkar, CMO, the health checkup was conducted by Dentist Dr. Liladhar Lokeshwar, ACMO, and Pediatrician Dr. Sumanth Kumar Marthyaya. Dr. Sumanth Kumar thoroughly examined the children, reviewed their vaccination status, and provided recommendations to promote healthy habits, prevent micronutrient deficiencies, and encourage balanced nutrition and immunization. Dr. Liladhar Lokeshwar performed a comprehensive dental checkup and motivated the children to maintain good oral hygiene. He emphasized the importance of correct brushing technique twice a day with a soft toothbrush and regular dental checkups every 3 months. He also promoted a healthy diet and advised against consuming sticky sweets, ice cream, and cold drinks between meals.

The children enthusiastically participated in a demonstration on proper brushing technique using a model, making the session both informative and enjoyable. Dental kits were distributed to the children, sponsored by the Twinkle Bells School management.
