The results of The Economic Times Human Capital Awards 2025 were announced on 19th February 2025 at The ETHRWorld Nextech Human Capital Summit 2025, held at Gurugram.

NTPC won the coveted Gold Award for “Excellence in Employee Retention Strategy”. The award was received by Shri C Kumar, ED (HR), Shri Prem Chand, GM (HR-COE) and other officials from NTPC, at a glittering ceremony, held at The Leela Ambience, Gurugram.

The Economic Times Human Capital Awards have been meticulously conceptualized and created to recognize organizations that put people first, deliver future-focused excellence in the field of People Management, and understand the importance of human capital as a key contributor to business outcomes.

All nominated entries were reviewed by an eminent jury comprising industry leaders. The finalists in each category were then required to present before the assigned jury, for determination of the top 3 positions. To make the entire process more credible, Ernst & Young (EY) was appointed as the “Official Tabulators” for the event.

The Award is a reflection of NTPC’s “People before PLF (Plant Load Factor)” approach, it’s progressive HR policies and people practices which contribute towards the actualization of the organizational vision and creating positive organizational outcomes and enhanced employee engagement.
