CC Vigilance and Power Management Institute, in association with Sanyukta Mahila Samiti, successfully organized ‘Udbodhan’ – Celebration of International Women’s Day’ on March 6, at Saraswati Auditorium, PMI. Themed "Accelerate Action," the event aimed to celebrate, empower, and inspire women in all spheres of life.
The day commenced with the inauguration of stalls and address by Ms. Swati Sharma (JS, Ministry of Rural Development). The event brought together distinguished speakers from reputed organizations and a series of engaging sessions, covering crucial topics such as Finance & Investment, Mental Well-being, and Women’s Health. Ms. Rashmita Jha (CVO), provided overall guidance and shared valuable insights on women's empowerment. The event was organized at PMI under the thoughtful supervision of Ms. Shoba Pattabhiraman, ED (Vigilance) and Ms. Rachana Singh Bhal, ED (Strategic HR & Talent Management) and Head of PMI.
The event culminated with a vibrant cultural program by the members of the NTPC Ladies Club, showcasing the spirit of creativity and camaraderie.
Six Self-Help Groups set up stalls exhibiting a diverse range of products, including cooking oil, spices, clothing, and bakery items. Their eƯorts were highly appreciated by NTPC, encouraging them to continue their commendable work and entrepreneurial initiatives. The program has been appreciated by all and left the attendees motivated to drive change and accelerate action toward gender equality.
