The Company Level Final of the NTPC Global Management Challenge (GMC) was conducted on 7th March, 2025, through the online mode in association with the International Organizing Committee for Global Management Challenge.

The results of the Company Finals were announced by Shri C Kumar, Executive Director (HR), who congratulated all the eight teams who had qualified for the Company Level Finals. He shared with the participants that Business Simulation Competitions are an effective way to develop leadership skills because they offer a realistic and immersive learning experience where results are achieved through teamwork. He exhorted all the teams to use the learnings from such Competitions in their day-to-day work transactions. He expressed his satisfaction with the high level of participation of Executives in this year’s Competition and encouraged all the teams to keep participating in such Competitions being organized regularly by NTPC.

The Team Alliance comprising of members from Vallur/Barauni emerged as Company Level Winner while the Team Magnates from CC-EOC Secundrabad secured the second place in this year’s competition. The Eight Teams who participated in the Company Finals of the NTPC Global Management Challenge will represent NTPC and participate in the GMC India – National Finals scheduled to be held in April 2025.

Launched in Portugal, Global Management Challenge is the world’s largest strategy and management competition based on a highly advanced business enterprise simulation. More than 30000 participants from more than 30 countries around the world take part in the competition every year. The Competition consists of an interactive business simulation in which each team manages a company in order to obtain the best investment performance for their company in the market in which it operates.
