Simhadri observed two minutes of silence in memory of Shri Kumar Gaurav, DGM, Kenrandari CMP on March 9 at Savvyas Building 2025,  who passed away on March 8, 2025. Over 200 employees gathered to offer prayers for the peace of his departed soul.

Shri Kumar Gaurav joined NTPC in 2005 as an Executive Trainee and dedicated nearly two decades of service across Dadri-NCPP, Simhadri, and Kerandari CMP with utmost sincerity and commitment. His passing is a profound loss to the NTPC family.

The solemn tribute was led by Shri Sameer Sharma, (ED-Simhadri), along with senior officials including Shri P K Jena (GM-O&M), Smt. S Padmapriya (GM-TS), Shri P K Sabat GM (USSC-CPG), Shri V T Kamble GM (USSC-C&M), Shri Gaddam Novahu GM (VPG-Simhadri), and Shri B B Patra (HOHR), who, along with NTPC employees, paid their final respects with floral tributes.
