NTPC Mouda Sports Council has taken a significant step in promoting sports and fitness among employees and their families by organizing a Football and Kick & Play Tournament. The tournament was inaugurated on 25th March 2025 by Shri Himmat Singh Chauhan, Head of Project, NTPC Mouda.

The tournament features four categories with enthusiastic participation:

• Men’s Football: 5 teams, 84 participants
• Ladies Kick & Play: 4 teams, 33 participants
• Girls' Kick & Play: 2 teams, 14 participants
• Boys' Football: 2 teams, 25 participants

A total of 24 matches will be played, and professional referees have been hired to ensure fair play and smooth conduct of the tournament.
Additionally, NTPC Mouda inaugurated a Cricket Practice Pitch with an Automatic Balling Machine on the same day. This new facility was inaugurated by HOP Mouda, will help cricket enthusiasts and young players refine their batting skills by practicing against deliveries of varying speed and length.

These initiatives highlight NTPC Mouda’s commitment to promoting sports, health, and community engagement among employees and their families.
