The International Business Development (IBD) department in collaboration with the NTPC School of Business (NSB) conducted a specialised training program on “Financial Modelling” for 19 professionals from Bhutan Power Corporation Limited, Bhutan. These programs are being conducted under the ITEC initiative, administered by the Development Partnership Administration (DPA) division of the Ministry of External Affairs, India.

The program was conducted from 24th- 28th March, at the NTPC School of Business (NSB), in the esteemed presence of Dr J.S. Chandok, GM (International Business), NTPC, Dr A.P. Dash, Professor (NSB), Dr Prashant Jha, Professor (NSB), Shri Rajesh Das, AGM (International Business), NTPC, Shri Ambarish Barnwal, SM (International Business) NTPC, along with other senior executives from NTPC and NSB.

The program was designed to equip participants with in-depth knowledge, essential skills and a comprehensive understanding of key financial concepts, including Ratio Analysis, Excel-based Financial Modelling, Balance Sheet Analysis, Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR).

The valedictory function was held on 28th March at NSB, where participants were felicitated with course completion certificates. The event also featured a vibrant cultural program organized by NSB students, with enthusiastic performances from both students and participants.
