Senior officials from Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL) - Shri S N Ganguly, VP (Operations) and Shri Sanket Shrivastava, Head (Sustainability) visited NETRA’s 4 MWh Microgrid Plant on 18th April to explore the implementation and operation of battery energy storage systems (BESS).

To manage peak demand during summer (evening) and winter (morning) in Greater Noida, UP distribution circle, NPCL is planning to setup a 100MWh battery energy storage systems. NPCL is seeking to learn from NETRA’s experience, challenges and guiding factors in executing similar projects in near future. During the visit, NETRA provided a comprehensive overview of the system and shared the valuable insights for successful planning and implementation of NPCL upcoming project.
