The NTPC Professional Circle Meet 2025 concluded successfully at NTPC Bongaigaon, drawing participation from 16 cross-functional teams across NTPC stations. The event served as a platform for sharing innovative solutions and promoting collaborative learning across the organisation. The meet culminated with the announcement of winners, placing the spotlight on teams that demonstrated excellence in problem-solving and process improvement.
Team Pro Controllers from CC EOC Raipur secured the winner’s title. The team comprised of Shri Vijay Porwal, Shri Kuldeep Gupta, and Shri Shailesh Ajmera S, who impressed the panel with their solution-oriented approach.
The first runner-up position was awarded to Team Uddhav from NTPC Rihand. The team included Shri Umesh Kumar Pathak, Shri Rashit Tiwari, Shri Moninder Singh, and Shri Vibhav Singh, whose presentation was noted for its clarity and implementation feasibility.
Team Rasayan from NTPC Ramagundam earned the second runner-up position. The team members—Shri Vamsi Krishna Munaga, Shri Neerja M Dastagir, Shri Srivas Banothu, and Dr. Narendra Kumar Soni—presented a technically sound and impactful case study.
In the regional category, Northern Region (NR) was adjudged the Best Performing PC Region, while Eastern Region-II (ER-II) was declared the Runner-up PC Region.
The awards were presented by Shri Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, in the presence of Shri Debabrata Kar, GM (O&M), and Shri Raj Kumar Gupta, AGM (Corporate BE Department). The judging panel which included Dr. Anil Kumar Dang, Lead Assessor; Dr. Uday Shanker Dixit, Professor at IIT Guwahati and Shri Sunil Kalita, CGM (Technical), IOCL BGR were also present during the presentation ceremony.
The event was earlier inaugurated by Shri Anil Kumar Jadli, Director (HR), NTPC Limited, who addressed the gathering and highlighted NTPC’s vision of fostering employee-led innovation. A specially curated brochure showcasing all participating teams and their presentation abstracts, NTPC Bongaigaon brochure and a film on ecological conservation by NTPC Bongaigaon was also released during the inaugural session.
The NTPC Professional Circle Meet 2025 reaffirmed the organisation’s dedication to continuous improvement through innovation and knowledge sharing with the winning teams setting benchmarks for future excellence.
