The CISF Fire Wing at NTPC Kayamkulam concluded the National Fire Service Week 2025 with a closing ceremony and prize distribution on 19th April at Souparnika Auditorium. The week-long event, observed from 14th to 19th April, featuring activities such as fire drills, first aid firefighting training, live demonstrations, evacuation exercises. Competetions like slogan writing, drawing, quiz, and essay were also held. These initiatives aimed to raise fire safety awareness among employees, contract workers, students, and the public, aligning with the theme "Unite to Ignite, a Fire Safe India."

Shri Debdutta Sinha, Head of Project (CGM), NTPC Kayamkulam, graced the event as Chief Guest. He praised the CISF Fire Wing for their dedication to protecting life and property. Inspector P.K. Sinha presented the annual report highlighting fire and rescue efforts. A display of modern firefighting equipment showcased the unit’s preparedness. Prizes were distributed to winners of various competitions by NTPC and CISF dignitaries.
