The atmosphere at NTPC Kanti turned electric as the highly anticipated Kanti Premier League (KPL) 2025, an in-house cricket tournament, officially kicked off on May 4, 2025, with a spectacular opening ceremony featuring a traditional lamp-lighting and an impressive firecracker show.

The inaugural match saw HOP XI taking on GM (O&M) XI, where HOP XI secured a convincing victory to mark the official start of the tournament. The excitement continued with the second match between Kanti Super Kings and Kanti Tigers, where Kanti Tigers triumphed by 4 wickets in a closely contested game.

This year, four teams comprising around 60 players will compete over six thrilling days for the coveted KPL trophy, promising high-energy matches and team spirit at its finest.
