PMI in collaboration with the NTPC Safety Academy (NSA) has introduced its first-ever long-term safety certification program on 9th December at the NTPC Safety Academy in Unchahar. This 3-week Certification Program underscores NTPC’s steadfast commitment to fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence across its projects and facilities.

The event was launched in the gracious presence of Shri R P Agarwal GM (O&M), Unchahar, Shri Surojit Sinha, GM (CC-Safety) and other senior officials from Unchahar, NSA and PMI. The dignitaries emphasized the pivotal role of safety in achieving organizational objectives and the importance of equipping teams with advanced safety knowledge and practices.

The program spanning three weeks is divided into two phases. The first phase is being conducted from 09-21th December and the second phase is scheduled from 06-11th January. A total of 33 participants from NTPC’s maintenance and construction functions have enrolled in this program.
