The Superannuation Function at NTPC Barh marked a memorable and eco-friendly beginning with a tree plantation in the township premises by the superannuating employees - Shri Amitabh Bhaumik GM (O&M) and Shri Ajoy Kumar Gupta AGM (C&M). All members of the Barh family, including Heads of Departments and other employees, were present in the felicitation ceremony.

The event, held at newly renovated Sauhard Bhawan on 31th December, 2024, was dedicated to honouring the exemplary careers of our superannuating employees. The ceremony witnessed the esteemed presence of Shri G. S Rao, HoP Barh and officials including, Shri Srikant Kerhalkar – GM(Maint), Shri A K Raza-GM(FM), Shri S B Singh-GM (Project) and Shri Prashant Kumar Samal, AGM (HR). 


During this momentous occasion, Shri G.S Rao, HOP Barh expressed his gratitude and acknowledged the invaluable contributions of the superannuating employees. The superannuating employees shared heartfelt reflections on their journey in NTPC. The GMs and HoP also took the opportunity to commend their hard work and dedication, underscoring their significant impact on the organization. The celebration continued with an official dinner. The event resonated with a sense of camaraderie and appreciation for the collective contributions made by these individuals throughout their careers.
