The 3rd Cost Auditor’s Meet was organized by USSC Group on 1st March at Dadri in which issues related to Cost Audit for FY 2024-25 were discussed. Shri Virendra Malik, Executive Director (Finance) graced the occasion in the presence of and Shri K C Muraleedharan, HOP (Dadri).

Senior partners from nine Cost Audit firms who were allotted the task of conducting the audit for FY 2024-25 also participated. The cost auditors were briefed on NTPC's Cost Accounting Policies and the Cost Accounting process within the SAP environment. Additionally, a brief presentation on NTPC’S performance was shared with the Auditors. Shri Dinesh Sha, Cost Auditor from Mani & Co (Lead Auditor), appreciated NTPC’s efforts in automating the Cost Audit process, emphasizing that NTPC is the only company where not only the cost audit is conducted through the system, but also the consolidation of cost records is also conducted through the system.
