The NTPC Centre for Power Efficiency and Environmental Protection (CenPEEP) and Power Management Institute (PMI), Noida, jointly conducted a two-day EEMG Knowledge Team (KT) Meet on 20th and 21st March, 2025. The event served as a key platform for knowledge sharing and operational excellence of EEMG executives from across NTPC stations.
Inaugural address highlights included where Shri A K Manohar, Executive Director (OS), emphasised critical issues affecting NTPC’s bottom line, such as marginal contribution challenges, coal accounting, efficiency shortfalls, and improvement measures. Smt Rachana Singh Bhal, Executive Director (Strategic HR & Talent Management), highlighted the importance of the KT Meet in enhancing learning and competency development, aligning with PMI’s focus on training and capacity building. Shri Partha Nag, General Manager (OS), stressed the need for accurate coal accounting, identifying efficiency gaps, and implementing mitigation strategies.
The program was well received by 32 EEMG executives from NTPC’s coal stations, including JV plants, reaffirming the role of NTPC for skill enhancement and continual performance improvement.
