The International Business Development (IBD) department is conducting specialized training in collaboration with NTPC School of Business, under the aegis of ITEC program of Ministry of External Affairs, GoI. The sixth Multi-Country ITEC Capacity Building program of FY 2024-25 was held from 17th - 21st March, on topic viz “Cross Border Energy Trading".

A total of 19 participants from ten different ITEC partner countries (viz. Mongolia, Algeria, Turkmenistan, Bhutan, Seychelles, Eritrea, Iraq, Bangladesh, Nigeria & Ethiopia) attended this program.

The program was formally inaugurated on 17th March 2025, at NSB, in presence of Dr Rajeshwari Narendra, Director (NSB), Dr J S Chandok, GM (International Business), NTPC, Dr A P Dash, Professor (NSB), Shri K S Bandyopadhyay, Professor (NSB) & other senior executives from NTPC and NSB.

The program equipped individuals with essential knowledge and skills for cross-border electricity trading, crucial for power pool stability and regional cooperation. The valedictory function on 21st March at NSB featured participant felicitation and a cultural program with student and participant performances.
