NTPC SRHQ celebrated the 50th anniversary of NTPC with a cultural evening on 29th March 2025 at Taj Deccan, Hyderabad. The grand celebration featured a plethora of cultural events with performances by Indian Idol contestant Mohd. Danish and India's Got Talent contestant Ishita Vishwakarma.

Shri Ajay Dua, RED(South) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.ED(Nuclear) Shri Prasenjit Pal, CEO NTECL Vallur Shri S.K Sinha, ED Simhadri Shri Sameer Sharna, CGM Kayamkulam Shri Devdutt Sinha and President Smt Ranjana Dua along with all GM's, Employees and family members were present on the occasion.

Shri SN Panigrahi, GM(HR) NTPC SRHQ welcomed the audience on the momentous occasion of five decades of NTPC historic journey of generating power, innovation and dedication to the nation. An Odissi dance recital on the theme of Panchadevta Stuti by Nrutyarupa Dance Academy set the tone of the evening followed by a theatre demonstration by the employees of NTPC.

This was followed by the musical extravaganza by Mohd Danish and Ishita Vishwakarma which entralled the audience till the end. A lucky draw was also organised for the employees which was presented by Shri Ajay Dua and all the dignitaries.

The cultural event resonated with a sense of pride as NTPC is celebrating its 50 years of existence with its inception way back in 1975
