The International Business Development (IBD) department in collaboration with the NTPC School of Business (NSB), organised specialised training programmes for professionals from ITEC partner countries under the Indian Technical & Economic Cooperation (ITEC) programme, administered by the Development Partnership Administration (DPA), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The programme was formally inaugurated on 31st March at NSB.

The current capacity-building programme on "Accounting for Budget and Cost Control" was conducted from 31st March to 11th April with 20 participants from Bhutan and 10 participants from Ghana, Tanzania, Honduras and Tajikistan.

The programme was designed to equip participants with in-depth knowledge and skills in key financial concepts including financial performance analysis, costing, budgeting and profitability assessment.

The valedictory session was held on 11th April at NSB in the esteemed presence of Dr J S Chandok, GM (IBD), NTPC, Prof Rajeshwari Narendran, Director (NSB), Dr A P Dash, Professor (NSB) along with other senior executives from NTPC & NSB.

Participants were felicitated with course completion certificates.
