NTPC Limited, through NTPC School of Business, is executing an in-person training assignment in Bangladesh & Bhutan as part of a project awarded by the International Solar Alliance (ISA).
Under the Bhutan leg, two training programs on Solar Mini Grids, are being held at ISA’s Star-C Centre at the College of Science and Technology (CST), Phuentsholing. The first of the two programs was inaugurated on 17th April 2025 by Mr Felipe Saliba, Chief of Unit, KMID, ISA, in the presence of the President of the Royal University of Bhutan and officials from Bhutan’s Ministry of Energy, and NTPC School of Business. Twenty-one participants are attending the program.
The closing ceremony for the programme held on 25 April 2025, featured certificate distribution in the presence of Mr Rajesh Das, AGM, NTPC International Business, Dr Cheki Dorji,President, CST, Mr K S Bandyopadhyay, Professor, NSB, and other dignitaries. During the visit, NTPC official also held business meetings with representatives of the Embassy of India in Bhutan and Druk Green Power Corporation Limited (DGPC).
