CQA & I-TG group in association with BHEL Haridwar organised a workshop on 660/800 MW Steam Turbines on 20th and 21st January at Haridwar. Participants deliberated on various aspects of design, engineering, manufacturing and quality related to the turbines.
The workshop was graced by Shri M K Asthana ED (QA&I), NTPC and Shri T S Murali, ED (BHEL) Haridwar along with senior executives from BHEL Haridwar and NTPC.
In this first of its kind initiative, executives from BHEL Haridwar and NTPC closely interacted for knowledge sharing and resolution of issues related to steam turbines. The workshop further strengthened the relationship between the two organisations contributing to nation building.
The program also included a visit to BHEL Haridwar factory wherein participants appraised themselves with various activities related to manufacturing of steam turbine components.
